These pads have really helped cut down on the odor! We are pretty frugal, and tend to use each dog pad as long as we can. Typically, one lasts almost a week at a time, sometimes a whole week for our little pomeranian. When we use the regular pads, that always started to smell within a few days. We use poop bags to pick up after him, as that is not something we let linger! Anyway, we noticed right away that these helped with the odor. It actually was not something we realized was a pad issue. We thought he was getting it on the carpet, and that was stinking. Now it seems that the real problem was the pads we were using. The carpet still needs shampooed for sure, as he most certainly has gone over the edge of the tray that holds the pads in place. This has helped immensely though, and has gone a long way in helping the room not smell at all!
I was concerned that he would not like the new pads, as he is very particular about things, but he took to them right away! He used to scratch, tear, shred, or try to eat the first pads we had, then we found another kind that he liked, and stopped all that, so switching to these made me a bit nervous, but let me tell you, they are just awesome! I thought the other ones did a great job holding the liquid in, but these do even better. There is no moisture at all getting underneath onto the tray! Like I stated, we don't change it out for a week most of the time, and this lets us do that easily! No odor, absorbs great, and easy cleanup! On top of that, our dog never pees in the middle of the pads, he always goes around the edges. Inevitably with the other pads, I would need to clean the tray after removing the pad. I still wipe it down anyway now, even though it is dry, but sure is a lot easier to clean weekly now. Plus, it just looks a lot better with the black always being black, and not seeing white with yellow. Neater appearance, no odor, holds A LOT of liquid, pup likes it, it's a win-win! I would never go back to regular pads again!

My dogs preferred the white pee pads versus the block
I just think that my dogs preferred the white pee pads that they were using versus the black there’s no contest they just didn’t like the carbon pee pads. They didn’t know what was going on. They didn’t know why I changed. Dompe more if your dogs are going to get confused just don’t do it.
